Yesterday we had a horrible storm with hail, wind, rain. If I didn't know better, I would have thought that there was a tornade behind it. Fortunately no tornado, but lots of rain all day and into the night. Consequently, this morning is cool and absolutely beautiful. Check out the video and pictures.

The yard is a huge mess, totally overgrown, but it still looks kind of pretty. What do you think???

Sunflower in the summer

Ok, so I'm really trying this on my own. There is this beautiful sunflower in my back yard. Ironically, I didn't even plant it. Some obliging bird with a seed in its mouth planted it for me, so thank you little birdie.
